So this year we were hoping to do better. the rest of the crew is overnighting in Boise on the night of the 10th. We were hoping to get down to the putin by 10am, get everything rigged, and boats on the water by 4pm, so we can have first rise departure on the river on the 12th. Waiting for the friend would likely mean a 1pm departure on launch day, less time to enjoy the river.
its $179 to rent a car from the 11th to the 20th so that beats any flight option.
I will check into your rideshare link. Thank you.
Lots of Boise boaters in that group, so maybe something will work out. We usually launch pretty late too, so I know what you mean about the next day guys coming in on top of you. Don't be those guys.
I set a world record for me last October as a one boat float. Arrived put in at 5pm. Launched at 6 pm. And we didn't have a blower for the boat and it wasn't small - Williwaw 2, so it was kind of a hustle.
Good luck with everything.
willieboater - if they are doing a charter might as well land Bruce Meadows.
