Friday 5/9/08

Looking for people to paddle with on Friday. Right now it looks like Deckers/Waterton is the only thing close enough that is running although Foxton is on the rise! Let me know if you are interested. Thanks, Paul

Have floated North Fork of South Platte from Buffalo Creek to the boulder gardens. Would be interested in Foxton on Friday or the South Platte above Waterton.

Hey mjpowhound,
Thanks for the invite. I think the gorge is just a little too far away for me on Friday. If you don't get any takers you can join us at foxton.

Foxton vs Waterton

I am really flexible on the time, but right now looking more at Foxton than Waterton. Foxton has come up big time since last night. If it comes up a little more (or a lot more) and stays up it'll be way more fun than Waterton.

Hey, Paul--We did Waterton Canyon last Sunday, I believe. Foxton's going to have to come up a bit (it's 220 now -- pretty bony). But I was thinking that'd be fun, too. Who knows, maybe there'll be a release or some more rain or, god forbid, warmth in the mountains. I couldn't leave Boulder until the early afternoon, so I probably wouldn't be much good on Friday. But on Saturday and Sunday...

I would be way into doing foxton/waterton/royal gorge, or whatever in the III/IV range on friday. Still haven't gotten in my boat yet this season. Kind of sad.

Hey Marc,
I have to work Saturday. Could maybe paddle Sunday morning. By then we might have the Poudre to paddle- it has risen quite a bit in the last two days.
