We want to do the run if there is enough water to do it, so just hoping to get some current beta as to whether or not it's doable right now.
Mike is a Local to the area who will have beta and maybe be able to show you the lines if you all schedules work out.
We did the upper Salt self support yakkin' with him in March, (his cancellation permit) and had a blast. we fully intended to finish the trip with a side trip to Fossil, but other commitments prevailed. I was of the opinion that if i drove 500 miles to water in March......
(then by golly some mank boating was better then none.)
Luckily the Salt is a High Quality western classic. even at 350cfs. I am disappointed to have missed creekin as well tho. its on the radar for any trips west from now on, as well as oak creek, and the verde. (and the Santa Maria...all on the AZ wish list.)
I am totally not above Class III creeking, and a nice low consequence water fall too. I am used to boat abuse, from creeking in NM.....
