My tip on this is- Crack them into zip-locks with season and onions, peppers etc... Then you can put them directly into boiling water and cook em'
On a food safety point- You need to cook cracked eggs within' 24 hours.
Once the lystic acid in the yolks get to oxygen they start to grow enzymes.
I'm not even going to get started on the psuedo science behind this claim - I'll leave it to the egg scientists!
Incredible Edible Egg | Egg Safety - Safe Food Handling Tips
Yes, eggs can be kept in a dry box, but only for a few days - any trip longer than 3 days or on a trip consistently hotter than 80 degrees F should use pasturized eggs (no really, they come in the shell that way) or the egg beaters type eggs in a container. Or, my favorite, use frozen eggs (cracked and lightly beaten, mixed in a freezer container) as ice in your cooler until the later days of your trip!
Take a serve safe food safety class thru your local health dept. if you are doing that many multidays!
