Durango Area 6/27

Heading down to Durango for the weekend and looking for someone to paddle something with on Friday on the way down. I will be heading out Thursday night and looking to hit something up on the way down. Either the Junction-Telluride area (Buzzard, Leon, San Mig, Unc) if I go via 70 or Forks of the San Juan area if I go via 285. I'm open to pretty much anything and can be persuaded either way. Anyone want to paddle?

Bump.

Valle's a no go for me at current levels.

C'mon there's a lot of river between here and D-town. How 'bout Western Slope? Eagle, Gilman, Aspen area? Just trying to break up the drive with some good paddlin' since I'm not working. Somebody's got to want to go boatin'. I'm up for anything III-V range.

Count,

What time are you looking to get on the road? I think I'm heading to the Ark and wouldn't mind a pit stop at Middle/Lower Tenmile or Gore Creek/Eagle. I've never done any of these but they seem to be in my range, with the possible exception of Dowd Chute. I have an appointment in the morning so I probably wouldn't be able to get anywhere until after noon. Let me know if you're interested.

I called a bro in Pagosa...

So if you're going that way, I called someone about West Fork, can call him--Morgan @ 970-903-3957. Chance for afternoon run. It's going down, probably more mellow than east fork. The east leg got taken out by a tree/gas line mess. Have a great weekend in Dgo, say hi to Dolores trip gang. Kikosuave.
