Dumont Tonight 6:00

Dumont is pumping and I am looking for someone who is interested in running it after work tonight. I can be up to the take out by about 6:00. I ran it the other day and it only took about 1 hr and 15 mins so there should be plenty of time. Meet at the parking lot on just next to the river at the MT Evans exit. PM me and let me know if you can make it.

We are meeting a little earlier at Mt. Evans exit takeout at 4:00 today (Friday) if anyone else is looking to paddle there. We ran it Wed. - plenty of fun if you are comfortable in fairly big water. Holes are not super sticky at this level.

Correction, I guess the holes do get a little stickier over 700 cfs , but what a fun time today.

Special thanks to Jim in Idaho Springs for loaning a helmet to my paddling partner. It would have really been a disappointment if I had missed this epic evening of paddling because of a missing helmet.

Could there be a more convenient, action packed run than the Lawson to Mt. Evans Clear Creek section at high water? Unbelievable fun, intense concentrated non-stop Class 4/4+ rapids for a solid 90 minutes.
If that sounds interesting to you, don't miss it. It won't stay high for much longer.
Hard to beat.
