Dolores May 26-28: 1 Kayak Spot Available

Whitewater Kayakers: From May 25/26 to May 28/29, there's a raft and kayak trip going down the Bradford to Slickrock section of the Dolores -- that's the section with the most whitewater, mostly class 3. Trip leader Gary Gleason says that it is "some of the best whitewater in Colorado. Due to the damn it only runs a few days a year. We are hitting the window perfectly." There had been four kayaks going, but three of those people recently decided to ride on rafts instead. I am now the lone kayaker, looking for a buddy! Although most of the group is launching on Wed. evening, May 25, and taking out on Sunday morning, May 29, some people are putting in on Thurs. morning the 26th and taking out on the night of May 28, making for a 3-day trip. Please let me know if you'd like to join us, and forward this to any potentially interested kayakers who might not be on this (Cari Mackey's Jagged Edge) email list. Thanks!
