Deso water level

Anyone have any info, prediction, wild guess, psychic vision on the Deso water level in the next few weeks? We have a May 2 launch, and the water level is still pretty low. It hasn't gone over 2900 cfs so far at Green River. The ten year average for April 15 - May 15 is 5000-10000 cfs. The dam has been holding steady at 850ish all month.
What do the buzzards think? I'm thinking of going with my smaller boat over the bigger one, unless the water level goes nuts in the next 18 days.

I just got off deso last thursday. it was running between 1800-2800 while we were on it. We ran it with two 16" rafts and one 14" cat and had no issues scraping bottom or getting stuck. With the cold temps in UT for the 10 forecast it isn't looking like there will be much of a bump in the flow, but you should be fine regardless. Have a great trip!

Ran deso last Aug with 1200-1500, so 2500 should be a stroll in the park. Hoping it comes up as well because I to have a May 2 launch. See ya there! I'll be in the yellow boat.

Awesome. I'll see you there. Sounds like my new little 12 ft. Hyside will be perfect for this trip. What's Joe Hutch like at that level? I'm used to low water bump and grind on September Middle Fork trips.

Do it!
We put in last year on 4/20
Great weather at this time of year. No bugs except the hanging caterpillars. No people either.
Have fun.

Joe Hutch was pretty decent size wave train. There was a nasty pourover on the top right and a few hard to see rocks to dodge at the bottom. Three fords was really nice at these levels!
