Deso/gray and a baby J

We have a group going down Deso using a 22 foot baby J on June 12. I doubt that would be too big, any thoughts? Also, what are some good high water camps? I haven't been down in a while and never at really high water. Thanks!

These flows are fine for a snout rig like that. Take care launching in the mud.
There's no such thing as a good high water camp, there are just places to stop and think about the great sand bar that will be there at the end of the summer.

We got off Deso/Gray on Tuesday, great high water. Rock Creek and Range Creek were still great camps w/ little beaches. Our group of 15 fit fine. Rattlesnake is camp-able but it is an island. Water was so quick we did 2 layovers! Scout the new Joe hutch rapid, we saw other groups flip there

Not if the water level stays, as soon as it drops it will leave prime breeding puddles!
