Deckers Info

Looking to run Deckers next week just curious where to put in take out for the longest possible run on the water. The guide by McCutchen p.308 says the run is two miles but can be made into 11 miles. I searched and found this link, the fourth post down has a map link if that helps with reference. Thanks this my first time above Wateron. When does Deckers become a non-beginner run

The takeout is normally at the Colo.Trail bridge, about 1/2 mile up from Waterton, you could continue through a short stretch of private property and down Waterton. The a -hole landowner that used to hassle people died a few years back. You can pretty much car scout everything and pick and choose your put in /takeout.Same goes for Foxton. The last apx. 3 miles of Foxton (below the narrows) is easier than the upper parts but better than Ónything on Decker's except the main chute, last 1/2 mile or so is flat.Any wood on Decker's should be easy to see, avoid, or portage.
