We were also told they closed hwy 6 because the fire department was assisting with a kayaker rescue.
Did they really close the hwy for a kayaker rescue?
Anyone else at Clear Creek yesterday told they were breaking the law, and were going to be arrested? Any playboaters get handcuffed at the playpark?
I saw a sheriff chatting with a couple boaters at the Lower CC takeout before I left after our run, but it seemed very amicable and the boaters put in below the dam again and the sheriff drove off.
I also heard something about a rescue in CC canyon, but not sure any details.
