Just want to do a two day one night trip. does anybody know if you can use a motor between Cisco and Dewey bridge? I just want that part to be a one day. Camp around there and float the rest the next day. Thanks.
No motors allowed for first 2 miles below Cisco takeout - I think it's a nesting area.
After that, fine. About 15 miles total to Dewey Bridge takeout, or continue on down to Hittle Bottom, another 12 or so.
Thanks, I have gotten out at Cisco from Westwater many times and never paid attention about camping or anything else. I appreciate the feedback.
We are planning to float 5-6 miles from Cisoco and camp Sunday night. Motor/float the next day to Hittle bottom, camp and float the next day to Take out Beach. Drive back to Glenwood.
37 miles, depending on where you take out in Moab. We took out at take out beach. We did it in 3 nights last September so flows were low (3400 CFS according to my notes). Decent current most of the way. Beautiful scenery and great camps. Definitely planning on doing that again sometime this year.
