Cataract first-time level

Not necessarily considering this years' terribly low flows but thinking about bigger water lately. What are your thoughts about Cataract at varying levels? What level was it at the first time you went through? Is there a "best" flow or a most forgiving level? It seems to be rarely discussed but too close to not hear it calling. Thanks!

At 15k I find the rocks all covered and the waves are big but no sharp holes, except for #5 maybe. My best trips have been around that level. My first trip was at 65k and I was too young and clueless to know how big it really was till I got through the big drops.
