Cali: Next Class 4?

I just ran my first class 4 last weekend, Chamberlain Falls on the North Fork of the American, and wanted to get some recommendations for what to check out next. Almost all of my experience had been on the South Fork of the American previously, but looking for bigger stuff now.

Chamberlain felt like at my skill limit as of now, so I want to find something comparable or slightly easier. Looking for suggestions!!! Also, if you know of a paddling group in the area or are looking for someone to go out with send me a message.

There are a couple more South Fork of the American runs you likely haven't run:
Kyburz (haven't been on the upper part, but lower is 4- to 4), along with
Riverton to Peavine which is slightly easier.
Lobin on the North Fork of the Feather.
Tiger Creek

The best thing you could do is to find similarly skilled boaters that are familiar with the runs and more skilled boaters who still enjoy Class 4 boating. They'll ease you into things.

This site may also help. It lists a lot of runs by difficulty: The Tip of the Iceberg

I PMed you my phone number. Maybe we can jump on a few of the runs mentioned in this post!

I'm a comfortable class 4 boater looking for new people to boat with. It's my first spring run off in Cali, though. If anyone else if looking to boat 4/5- stuff I have a lot of time to boat this spring and would love to meet some people out here.

Happy paddling,
