If you are talking about Island Camp right above Knowles, than it is not just a big rock pile. More like a sandy shelf tucked into the foliage. You can see the Knowles site, but it's across the river and a decent bit down river. Enough for a sense of privacy. However, it is small and 6-8 people would be hard pressed to spread out and enjoy themselves. The Blackrock sites do seem to have some natural features, read big rocks or the occasional tree, used to separate the sites. But no matter how you look at it, there are 10 sites in a mile or so, so it is busy and you will have neighbors. I'm actually surprised that none of the sites aren't taken yet.
