Black Canyon this weekend

who's in? I want to leave Denver Friday afternoon and spend at least a night down in there on Saturday night. I have never done it have wanted to for years and I am finally gonna make it happen. I got one other person going right now and though I think we are competent, I would love to have someone who has been down at least a couple of times to show us the way. So, if you don't feel like going to Gore or doing something lame like mountain biking (or god forbid road biking) give me a shout.

alright, y'all are making me bump this thing, and I don't like doing it, but there is still water in colorado, they dropped the flows back, but I am still down, so come on, put the bike away for one more weekend and hit up the black canyon with some kids who love to have nothing but fun. next time i am gonna start calling you all out by name, don't make me do it, cause you know I will!!!

......gotta work

missed your call. Todd and I made it down there two weeks ago. Have fun if you make it, we thought it would be cool to continue down gunny gorge if you have time/food/booze, if not the chukar trail is not so bad. You'll be fine w/o a guide scouting horizon lines. One tricky seal launch after a portage-after cave camp. Only itching in three spots from p.i. We both wore painters suits-they at least helped with wear and tear on personal gear as I ate shit several times on the big portage.-john
