Im going to go as a boat assisted canyoneer, solo, if thats what happens. Taking the Phat, and good shoes.

I spose if anyone wants to go with me, they should realize that it will be my first time down, and I am sort of looking forward to doing a "practical first descent" Except that I have seen some old video of the gnar in the inner gorge, so Im pretty sure of what I am getting into.

Go andy!

Well I guess if you are looking to do a practical first d going alone sounds pretty practial to me. You should make sure you go while they are releasing so you get the full on experience.

either alone, or with someone else whos never done it before (i dont know anyone who wants to do this) or with a group that wants to laugh at me while i scout all the blind corners and not tell or show me the lines, but since those people are figments of my imagination, they will be there anyway

im definately getting in there before it drops, as long as the weather is good
