Bike touring boater looking for some CO grins!

Hey yall! I'm a NC boater bike touring on the Great Divide mountain bike route. I'm riding from Canada to Mexico but I wanna take a break and paddle in the Salida area. I don't have any gear with me, so I'm kinda looking for a kind soul who may have some extra gear and wouldn't mind showing me around the Numbers, Browns, or maybe Pine Creek. I can rent gear as well if I have to, but I'm dirtbagging this trip as much as possible. I'd love to buy you beer and gas and pitch in any way I can. My shuttle biking is top notch right now! I'll be in the area probably around Thursday the 20th and would stay for as long as I can paddle! Any help would be greatly appreciated and returned in kind if you're ever in the dirty south. Shoot me a message with any possibility. Shit, I might even hop in a raft! Cheers.

Come on buzzards, give the man some Colorado mountain river feedback. Jason I bet if you would have made up some story about a charitable cause that you where biking for, you would have had a dozen offers by now. Sorry man I live in Montrose and I could only donate an IK for the cause. Come on Salida, help the guy out. Jason, why are you biking from Canada to Mexico, and do you have biking partners?? Just curious!!!

I'm just out seeing the West the slow way, mostly alone. Kayaking is the only thing I like more than riding my bike, and I'm missing the river. I think maybe I'll cruise to Buena Vista and hope for a nice reception by some strangers ready to rack up some great river karma! I'd still love to hear from anyone out there willing to take me out. I'd make it worth your while, and we'd have a blast. Guaranteed!
