Bike Shuttle COLO - Grizz to GW PP?

Anyone with experience bicycle shuttling Grizzly Creek to the Glenwood Playpark? Is this a decent option, or a pain in the ass?

I'm also looking for decent camping options in the area - I'm not too familiar with Glenwood.

Thanks for your input!

Get a site at no name, bike shuttle is no problem as long as you dont smoke more than my sister, do you take out at 2 rivers if your rafting

With my dog( so I was going slow) it took about an hour, from two rivers to grizzly creek. If I was on my own it would have taken about 30 minutes. It was an easy bike shuttle, the worst part was strapping the bike to the raft.

Thanks for the info.. seeing as I'll be in a kayak, I think I'll just leave the bike at the takeout.. a good 45min bike-ride wouldn't be bad to stretch the legs, totally do-able.

PineMnky, thanks for the no-name camping idea, I'll take a look at that.

I like to drop my gear off at the top and leave my car at the take out. Then i bike up to my locked boat. I lock the bike and boat down to my car. That way if there's an emergency a car is quicker than a bike at the takeout.

There is some limited free camping on the BLM up the road toward the dump at South Canyon. Is better than it sounds but no amenities like water. The Glenwood Canyon resort (No Name) is nice, very convenient but you pay for what you get. Bike shuttle from the wave is all on bike path pretty much and really nice.
