Just so you guys know... TJ has only run it at low, the first video posted was medium and my video was high. Anytime most mortals are considering Slideways it's medium low or lower. Was there for all of those days so I'm knowin what I'm talkin about and I'm also knowin what REAL high is. Ran it when the Poudre was 5.5 ft. this year and found the upper limit. Wouldn't recommend it when the gauge rock is 2 ft. under water.

On the other hand, anytime you run Double Trouble over low flow, it's high and official. Differences in the top half of the run are less pronounced but by the time you get to DT and Slideways you know what you're really dealing with.

Clayden - Winds! Let's do this. Wyoming class III if you portage everything like Tom did this past weekend.

Nice to see that shit-talking has arrived in the Trip Planner forum. God help the person who wants to run the filter plant.

Sorry Chief.

haha just wanted to say that... but seriously, Tom is right in that most people prefer not to go internet dating for long wilderness class V runs. On the other hand if they find you at the take-out jonesing, and waiting for somebody, anybody to paddle they can at least see you face to face and know how bad you want it - which is half the battle.

evan winds count me in, not fucking joking this group bs thats been going on seems like survivor goat 7 all over again. everybody is getting super core. that they are so core that they cant appreciate another boater. talk about hard core.. stay safe you choads

when the trip?

also theres probably a way to do a little math with all the gauges that way to figiure out what it probably running rather than guessing the flow.. realistically its this week in the passt but this week is 2 weeks behind this year.. so sorry for the walkers this last weekend sounded fun! but do some math

tom that may be the way in colorado but in wyo where you are more than likely paddling with your right hand.. stroking it good.. you show up and take what you can get.. damn you spoiled sandbagger

Chiefton rules

Just to back up chiefton, he has ran the big south, and missed his usual posse when we ran BS on Saturday.

As a side note, my man here is more fun to boat with and hang out with than 99% of the buzz crowd.
