Basalt to Carbondale

Hey all..looking for some info on the Roaring Fork from Basalt to boat ramps, etc. We are up here now until Saturday in a 13 footer with oar frame since we are this stretch doable in that boat? We did the fork from Carbondale to 2 Rivers today and fishing was poor, thus we are looking to fish the middle fork...thanks for your help in advance!

gonna be low; you can put in behind city market in el jebel but it's gonna be low with the clouds and the snow. I would put in at tibbets and take out at new castle depending on the weather and the flows, maybe a new castle to silt run...

Who's your monkey?

Yeh, Not the best time to come out here with a raft to fish. Last year I spent every day this week on the water, Carbondale to West bank. Usually the Basalt to carbondale float is a springtime-summer thing. There are alot of trees down as well as low flows. If you want to fish this section, Just walk it. There is plenty of access from parking lots and bike trail.
