yeah that was my thinking too Pizzle,a bunch of rusty advanced boaters on Bailey and off the couch intermediates on Foxton at high water equals swimfest. Some class V boating friends call Bailey at 650 swimfifty as somebody usually swims. Ian half got me. I was skeptical ,but it was Deepsouth saying it so i thought damn Foxton is cranking and the road is closed ,until i realized the date. 970 is the highest i've ever caught it in like 80 runs and i havn't boated in 5 months ,might of swam/swum
250 is plenty doable on Bailey, old book said 165 min. 325 was a miscalculation ,he forgot to subtract out tribs on South Fk. below Cheeseman. By my reckoning it got up to the 290's on Foxton and 270's on Bailey.
