Baileys 4/5?? 300ish cfs

Would anyone like to paddle Bailey tomorrow 4/5?? Someone said the gauge is off, 250 last week ment 325 (so someone said). If that's the case its maybe 300ish now? Crew common over from Bv, would love to share shuttle. Bob (719)966-915zero

Bob,

I think the gauge for Bailey is pretty accurate right now. Ran it Saturday at 240 and it seemed like such. Also looks like the tunnel dropped the flows to 170. If it comes back up I'll do a run with you guys, it will have to be Friday for me though. Maybe Pine Creek Fri if Bailey doesn't come up?

Hahhaaha, April Fools. Ian you almost got my party to turn around in Silver Thorne. We wanted to see the epic carnage fest that would have ensued with large Groups on Bailey at 1k cfs.

yeah that was my thinking too Pizzle,a bunch of rusty advanced boaters on Bailey and off the couch intermediates on Foxton at high water equals swimfest. Some class V boating friends call Bailey at 650 swimfifty as somebody usually swims. Ian half got me. I was skeptical ,but it was Deepsouth saying it so i thought damn Foxton is cranking and the road is closed ,until i realized the date. 970 is the highest i've ever caught it in like 80 runs and i havn't boated in 5 months ,might of swam/swum .

250 is plenty doable on Bailey, old book said 165 min. 325 was a miscalculation ,he forgot to subtract out tribs on South Fk. below Cheeseman. By my reckoning it got up to the 290's on Foxton and 270's on Bailey.
