Bailey Fri May 16

Hoping to rally a crew for bailey friday as I got the day off work. Looking for an early start to get home before dinner. If bear creek comes up by friday, then thats the ticket.

Anyone up for some friday boating close to denver?

Call or PM
Ian

Kent, not sure about the weekend, but if anything it will be a quickie close by like clear creek or bear. My wife and I have twin 6 month old boys and that makes it a bit more difficult to get out. Friday is for sure right now and I can get out for long enough to go to bailey.

Ian, I'm interested in Bailey for Friday!!! I'll be coming from BV though, so if your looking for an early start, I might just have to meet you at the put in. If I can get one more friend to share gas with, I'm good to go. I'll give you a ring tonight when I find out. Josh

Force, early start works. We are planning to meet at the Fort (morrison) at 8am.

Josh, meeting us at the put in would be fine. We will probably be there by 9:30 after dropping a car at the takeout. Let me know how many you got coming for shuttle...

"A bit more"? Man, I thought I had it a little rough for with kayak planning with one 8 month old - your wife must be a very tolerant saint.

Have fun this Friday. Congrats on the twins- such a fun age....

Yeah twins are pretty intense. My wife has been very cool letting me get out and have some fun. I try to make up for it by busting ass double time when I am at home to make things smooth when I get a chance to get out.

I've been wondering how much folks with young kids get out. My wife and I have had some vigorous discussions about what is "acceptable".

What I really need is a day care tent set up at the park in golden or at the takeout park at bear creek. I'd be in business then!

Thanks for the congrats!

Ian, I managed to unload some responsibilities, and will join you guys. I'll be at the fort by 8. Anyone coming from Boulder?

Sounds great Vince. So far two from Denver, and I'd guess Force is coming from Ft Collins. No boulder as of yet.

Looking forward to a good day on the river.
