Bailey 4/14

Putting together a Bailey run Saturday the 14th...Saw 4 or so guys putting on today and the water looked good. I was told that Ian is the one to reach out to for someone who doesn't know the lines...

I will have a couple other solid boaters going and one knows the run. Anyone who wants to join and if you know the lines that would be great.

David, its hard to plan on Bailey this time of year, as it is completely dependent on tunnel flows. It could be running, but you typically don't know until a day or two before if the flows will hold. I will update with Denver Water plans as I get them.

Its a good idea to go with someone who knows the run your first time, and there won't be a shortage of those folks this season. Bailey is likely to be the savior of the season for many front range boaters. I haven't been getting out on Saturday, but if Bailey is running, there will be boaters.

P.S. 255 cfs was fine.

Good to see everyone is adjusting their standards accordingly

Thanks for the input. I'll keep my eyes on the flow next week. Hopefully It's still running.

That was probably my group you saw putting on yesterday. It was my first time, but the other three had been down it a bunch and knew the lines. Man, it was an awesome run. I'd be down to do it again next weekend.

Theres some wood in there somewhere. I believe it was somewhere above supermax. Its maybe 8" in diameter and goes from river level on river right to about 4 feet on river left where you can duck under. We knocked a bunch of the branches off but it could become a problem at higher flows.
