7-8 enchiladas per bag, bag o spanish rice, bag o black beans. Boil enchiladas flat in one pot (can do 2-3 bags at once), plop bean & rice bags in another. All you have to clean up are plates & utinsils. & you already have 2 pots of water ready.
I did DO biscuits w/a boil bag of gravy that worked great. Used pop tube biscuits & chopped em in 1/4s, can fit more in the DO & then just pull apart as much as you want for servings.
I have been precooking bacon/sausage at home & bagging it. Don't have all the grease to deal with in the field.
Pasta salad, portions of lunch meat, even fruit salad have worked well. Only froze the lunchmeat. Chili & spaghetti both work great.
I also like to seal meats w/a marinade. Works great, throw em on a grill, boilbag a side, & add a fresh salad. Easy clean up.
As for the great egg debate.... Pre scrambled & seasoned, bagged, frozen, boiled. Taste great.
Never get out of the boat
