Arkansas River Flows

I need some advice from the locals near the Arkansas River at the Numbers. The river flow seems to be dropping very fast. Last year at this time the river was flowing at over 2000 cfs at The Numbers. This year it is flowing at only 1500 cfs according to the data posted at this site. in the past 2 days the gauge depth has dropped nearly 2 feet. I am concerned that the river flow will not be very good by Saturday, June 3. Would someone let me know how the river is flowing compared to last year? I was hoping to do some serious rafting with one of the guide companies, but if the river is not running very well I don't want to do it. Your advice is appreciated. I live in Houston and we don't get a lot of chances to do this.

You'll still enjoy it, just not as pushy or larger pour-overs. #5 won't be washed out which will provide the nice drop at the top. If you are that bored do Pine creek(granite section).

I live in salida, co right on top of thr Ark....the water flow will be fine, it has been less warm here lately this might have something to do with the drop in flow but like the last post said "not as pushy'.......also the water is coooooooold....
