It looks like a great program for the vets though... Man, I can't imagine having both legs gone. Not for this war....

It is a great organization. I learned about it from some of the Wavesport crew last year. I think they have been doing paddle events with the soldiers over the past few seasons. Im sure Ben knows more about it as he has been to several on water days. Cool to see kayaking used to help others. These men and women have done so much for us.

Hobie hit it on the head. As some of you might or might now know. CO hosted TRR's first out of state big trip. The crew hit up Salida, then to OBJ, then to my hometown Glenwood Springs.

here is the old update: http://www.doubleyouess.com/currentNews.php?news_id=178

This program is so amazing, and so awesome. I can't explain the things I've learned about myself, and others through this program. Walter Reid Medical Center a lone is quite an experience to walk through...

I actually got a random phone call from a Female participant yesterday wondering when Moe, Jeremy and myself are coming back. I guess her first time down the potomac ended up with a broken nose, and bronchitis... but she said shes not scared out of it yet....

Gonna have to sneak a weekend off and head back up to DC...

Be sure to check out more at http://www.teamriverrunner.org/

The Group will be doing another CO trip this year amongst many more...

Just found out that the VP of the program is at the WS factory right now getting ten new boats for this year. Super amped to have more peeps get in the program... can't wait to see them later this year....

WS has been proud to sponsor this program in the past, and is continually doing so in the present!
