I actually think that it is a good thing. my original point is that denver water is fairly responsible when it comes to water treatment and its use even if they do keep building new dams which isn't so environmentally (or kayak) friendly. I worked for them for a few years and there are a lot of great people at denver water who care deeply about the effects of the jobs they do. They are trapped by the rising tide of population and its NEED for clean safe water. they are also constantly making efforts to preserve our most precious of resources. think about this the next time we question their motives, denver water is the largest land owner in the state of colorado and a huge percent of it is undeveloped with no future plans to do so.
