Doesn't surprise me in the least.

Wayne (owner) has historically been a good guy and someone I considered a friend. BUT that all changed not long back when I was leaving for Africa and he promised something that never happened. Could have really been the root of a terrible issue, but thank goodness it turned out OK all on it's own...

I have to believe that he must be having a pretty rough time. His paddles are awesome and as I mentioned he is a good guy at heart. For him to totally blow off everyone that supported his product must mean that he is going through a bad stretch... But I have rarely been as pissed at anyone as I was with him.

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather...To skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming... WOW !!!! What a ride!!!!!!"

Wayne is my neighbor. In his defence he is one of the nicest guys I have met up in the summit. I supose he is taking a break from making paddles to save up some cash. Building custom paddels is tough bizz for as little as he was charging. I love my paddle and I hope he starts up the shop again soon because I know whoever has a woody is stoked!
