Wilderness destroying Legislation

Hi all, in case you didn't know, the last 5% of America (including Alaska) that is free of roads, mines, and logging, is about to lose that protection.

The House bill (already passed) language is posted here:

http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-1...12hr4089rh.pdf

The Senate bill language is posted here:

http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-1...112s2066is.pdf

The CRS review of the legislation is here:

https://www.rrfw.org/sites/default/f.../CRSreport.pdf

You can make a difference by contacting YOUR senators and letting them know you want them to vote NO on Senate Bill S2066.

Thanks, yours, tom

Just once I'd love to see some wilderness totally kick the shit out of some legislation.

That'd be epic.

Seems like it's always the other way around.

And when you're finished emailing and calling about sb 2066, take another minute and let the powers that be know that you favor wild rivers and wild fish over shiny metal, and voice your opposition to the Pebble Mine project.
