Who's been on the Piedra recently

Just wondering if the Piedra gage is acurate. I am thinking about heading there soon, if it is indeed running over 1000, thanks

Mike

I was just down there, (the 21st) and it is indeed running in that range. But the road is closed. Hopefully someone will post when it opens up.

The gage is correct, but alot of the flow 35-40% is coming in from below the run this time of year. We ran it last weekend and could not have asked for better weather on an early piedra run.
The shuttle is a bitch (2-2.5hrs). You have to run the whole 20 or so river miles. It is a long cold day even with 75 degree temps. Dress extremely warm. Put on or before 10am.
Adios, John Boy
