What are you supposed to do when your in a kayak and it starts lighning. Someone told me that since you are at the lowest point possible it doesn't matter. But water + electricity don't mix either.
All I'm worried about is getting zapped. I've seen lowest points get nailed before, and I'm not to keen on it. Who lives west and knows when this will be letting up?
I'm west right now, with a view of the foothills. It's not letting up.
But I can't tell you how many thunderstorms I've boated in--CC more than anywhere else. It's a deep canyon. You're safe enough. From the lightning anyway. Watch out for those gamblers!
Love the ominous vibe under black skies in Black Rock!
