Whitewater surf guide

Looking at a road trip to NorCal then down the coast and back home to Dtwon via southwest. Want to bring the play boat and trying to figure out were all the WW parks and surf zones will be along the way.

Anyone no of a guide book of sorts, would be sweet if there was one.

No WW Parks in California except for a dam bypass near Auburn that you have to hike down to. Bring the creekboat because that is what cali is all about. Ask on for what playspots are running, b/c there are plenty depending on the time of year. Stanley Holbrook is still the book for Cali which is surprising but still has most of the stuff. if you want the good runs, just look for the runs in that guidebook that say "Portages: ?", those are the good ones.

On the way back to D town, Riverdale Wave in Ogden has been going for a couple weeks and should be in for another 2 months. Get WW of the South Rockies for the S Utah stuff on the way back San Rafael, Cottonwood Creek and Left Hand of Huntington are all worth doing.
