Where to camp Durango & anybody do shuttles for upper an

Heading to Durango for the long weekend. Where are the good camping spots. Wild camping is fine. Camp spots closer to the bar scene would be better but not really fussy.

Does anybody do shuttles for the upper anuimas run?

I guess the train qualifies, but I havent had much luck with the outfitters, something about liability, blah, blah..

What day are you planning on running it? We were thinkin about Sat. If you got a vehicle for the take-out I can get you to the put-in. Were staying in Durango proper.

All the reserved camping is booked solid though. Theres some camping just south of Rockwood. I found some on the net as well. Good luck,
