What is up with the flows on Shoshone??

It's happening at night. The guage could be freezing, or the electronics could be effected by the cold, or a beaver set up camp near the guage causing wierd stuff happening. If you don't see it upstream or downstream, it's fake.

There are two big dams above Kremmling, but the pumphouse guage doesn't show the variations.

I think that some of the gauges use solar power to charge a battery that keeps the gauge running overnight. If the battery is dead or disconnected then the gauge would only have power during daylight, and would report nothing at night. Just a theory.
