what area has the best water in late spring (May)?

Everywhere that time of year. And if you have a month you can rally most of the state. Durango area would be first on my list, followed by Crested Butte region and Crystal.

It is all starting to go off by mid May in Colorado. Depends what you are looking for I guess too though.
