I like to think of myself as a boater but i'm really more of a swimmer who enjoys sitting in a boat once in a while.

Normal is a setting on your washing machine!

Boating is my passion.....makes my heart happy & puts a smile on my face.
Lots of other interests, but none occupy my thoughts quite like the river.

This is sage advice. As my knees transitioned me out of 40 years of being a hardcore skier thankfully I discovered boating to redefine myself. Otherwise a crisis likely would have developed. I fear my hardcore boating days are numbered too, and this thought give me quite a bit of pause. If I am not an A, B, C, or D, what am I? I don't know, but for now I damn sure am a BOATER! I'm sure that will change someday too, and the same thing will happen more than once.

However I do like the swimmer comment!

I'm a river rat.

I've always been drawn to water whether for swimming, fishing, boating....hell just sitting by it is fine by me!

As long as there is moving water nearby I'll be OK.
