Westwater shuttle

The missus and I are doing Westwater this weekend, but don't have a shuttle. Is anyone going to be running cars on Saturday morning? If so, do you have room for one more passenger back to the ranger station? If you wanted, I could pay you enough for gas to drive an extra vehicle out there and still save a fortune compared to buying a shuttle from Road Runner. (Rim Rock said they're closed for the season)

We've got a blue Ford Ranger and a green Maravia...

Thanks!

Just so you know, the bike shuttle isn't bad. Just requires about an hour or two more. Drop all the gear at the putin, drive to the takeout and ride the sneak. It's only 1.5 hours at most.

Also, did you guys happen to be on cataract last march? I was on the big cataraft down there. Hope your season was good

Yeah, Joe, that was us. We'll probably be out there again this spring, too. I love Cat in the shoulder season, school just gets in the way. Did you hear about Western's take-out on Saturday of that week? Hauling their trailer out of the sand was like a scene from World's Strongest Man (except it took 20 of us instead of one really big guy).

I emailed Rim Rock when I first got the permit, they said they closed up for the season. Is that not true? Should I call again? I know the bike shuttle is a good option, but we were hoping to avoid spending the time.

Thanks for the reference, I went with American Spirit. We really wanted to spend our time this weekend in the canyon...
