Yeah, with that drizzle that lasted through a lot of the morning I wouldn't be surprised if that was y'all at Lower Little D that hadn't even gotten out of your tents when we floated by. Even after a dynamite biscuits and gravy/scrambled eggs breakfast, we'd have stopped in if we'd known there'd be that much bacon frying!
It was pretty cool to see the water fall down farther along in the rapids and to see the canyon in the mist and haze rather than blazing sunshine. I'd bet that Little D was flowing pretty well and wish we'd been able to get that campsite. I think that the coolest thing was how lush the new grass was in the campsites. I got lucky and had a really good group which, despite the chill and rain, had no complaints.
