"that great "honeymoon suite" in the black rocks up above."

I'm sure it gets well rinsed over the winter, but this is a very popular groover location, might get a little stinky in the prime season.

Frenchy, I take it you've missed camp? I guess you're still hearing about that one.

Not my photos, but I'd say it was around 2500 or so- if I could see Skull rock I'd be able to get a better idea. Definitely LOW.

That picture probably was taken somewhere between 1200-1500 cfs.

I've run it that low a number of times, and you could eddy out, tie off, and have a picnic on Skull Rock at those levels. Any lower, and the larger rafts start hanging up running left of Razor Rock (the run shown in that picture) and so they either try the holes in the middle or do the squeese run between Skull Rock and the right wall.

For what it's worth.

You sure won't have to worry about low water this year- I'm a little concerned that my 4/22 launch may mean a trip in the swirling teens.

The canyon rarely drops below 2000 anyway- the last time is was below 1500 was a few weeks in the July-August '02 drought season. Other than that, you don't see flows that low even in January.

El Flaco: That's a cool map you posted! Wish I could get more maps like that. Say, does anyone out there know where Little D actually meets the Colorado in Westwater Canyon? We've always looked for it but never see it. Thanks!
