Wavesport Project

Sat in one at the shop but have not boated one yet- any reviews? I think I am going to buy one without having paddled it...It looks great and I am so excited about WS having a medium sized boat-

YEs, Yes, and Yes!!!

Yes, I have paddled it. Yes, it is one of the best playboats on the market. Yes, I am biased.

I paddled the proto-type a bunch at the BV playpark, and I couldn't get enough of it. The proto was a little edgy, but they have fixed that issue. I then got a final version at the end of the season and paddled it at the M-wave, Fluffy Muffin and Westwater. This boat is so much fun. I am 175lbs. and the 52 works very well.

This boat is really easy and smooth to throw around in a hole and very easy to throw quick blunts or roundhouses. It loops really big, and has one of the fastest and loosest "spud" hulls on the market. The hull on the Project is what sets this boat apart from other spuds.

Paddler magazine voted the Project the best playboat of the year!!!
I have said it before and I will say it again. I am biased, but I doubt that the Paddler magazine boaters are.

nkellum--if you have any more questions feel free to PM me.

anyone paddled the 62? Is it for really big guys only, or workable for people in the 190/6'2'' range? Looks like a fun boat, but I wish they would have gone with a touch less volume in the big version.

As great as the smaller versions are I hear that the 62 suffers from the same piggyness as the ezg 60.

Hey:

I have paddled the 52 since last sept. Had a good chance to run in from 2-class 5....

Combines a great hull from the zg, but will allow more friend hole play, especially in CO with the WWP's. Anyways, The 62 is going to be a big boat. I don't think you will have as much trouble tossing it around as you think. It was originally going to be a tad bit smaller, but go big or go home right?

The new boats look sweet. We picked up a 52 for retail. The demos and other sizes still haven't come in. Ben any word on delivery? Your crystal ball working?
