Ward/Boulder cl.4 creek info needed?

Got a free couch avail. to me in Ward. I am from South Carolina, and consider myself a solid class 4 creekboater. Looking for a short local creek near ward to run in June. I will also need to rent a boat prefer a Java, or Micro 230 if possible.

Thanks in advance,

Boulder creek sounds like your ticket:

Easier alternative - upper south boulder creek:

Mankier alternative that may or may not be running but is really close to Ward - Left Hand Creek:

The closest shop for renting would be

keep in mind that upper south boulder and alto alto south boulder are
two disparate sections and one wouldn't wish one intended for one
toward the other. lower south boulder is midpoint in dificulty between
alto alto and usb.

lefthand's fun, once.

the elefant buttress section on boulder creek is fun and gets rowdy at high flows. also sections on the clear areek including the black rock section are within an hour.

post back when you get into town.

south cakalacky to ward?!!

Dang! Well, Ward oughta feel just like home, they got more cars on blocks than most of suburban Clemson! Plenty of mangy dogs too! I'm from Georgia originally so I can serve as your interpreter for those who dont speak Southern-ese.

Definitely post when you get in town, theres too much to run in Colorado to be stuck in Ward, there are plenty mtnbuzzers who would be happy to show you many of the states alternative runs. Lefthand creek will be your backyard run, but its length of season is very short.
The other local runs are all dependent on your judgement and timing. I'd be happy to show you a few runs, so get to emailing and posting just before you arrive.
