Virgin Kayaker needs help!

Not that kind of help!! :P ha!

We want to start kayaking and looking for somewhere to start. Should we take one of those kayaking classes? Who's the best?
What do you guys recommend.

My son is 11 and a pretty tough little bugger, I'm pretty sure he can handle it. But give me your thoughts.

Can anyone give me the straight scoop on this - I'm so stoked it looks like an absolute blast!

if you live in Colorado, Colorado Whitewater Association is a great place to start.

Great way to meet other boaters and get led down all kinds of beginner and intermediate runs. Plus they have roll clinics, training camps, all sorts of stuff.

I hope in the future Americans are thought of as a warlike, vicious people, because I bet a lot of high schools would pick "Americans" as their mascot. -Jack Handy

Yes, you should take "one of those classes". RMOC is one place to look.
