varying tube pressure

Do you vary the pressure in your raft/IK tubes for certain conditions/circumstances/preferences? I'm new at this and just wonder. (I'm not referring to releasing some air when your boat will be sitting on a hot, sunny beach; thinking more about on-water performance.) Thanks for the info!
