Vallecito?

I am thinking that there is probably a ton of snow and ice in and around the gorge at the moment. Can anyone confirm? Or would it be possible to catch it on the way up in the next week or two? Should be at a runnable level after today's peak.

Why can't I edit the post?

Actually, remembering the guage issues, it probably needs a few peaks to be runnable. In any case, the beta on the snow and ice situation would be appreciated, whenever someone is up there.

WOOD

I don't know about snow n ice, but wood is definatly gonna be an issue. In the fall there were a few unavoidable logs in no way out and one in trash can. They just blew up a bunch of avalanche debris upstream of the gorge so a lot of that will be coming down with the run off, but the other stuff wont blow out until then.

flow is rising

So...does the wood situation mean that Valle will be unrunnable until after peak has flushed it out? Levels are coming into the zone.
