mnpaddler or bwilkins would know, PM them. They are draining Seaman reservoir and when I was there a few days ago, the lower north fork was like Hershey's special dark milkshake.

Don't know if it is still running. If you have run it recently please feel free to ignore this, otherwise here are few beta pieces:

Hike in is fairly long and uphill, carrying a raft on it sucked and we were able to get landowner permission to carry across their property. Putting in on the bridge requires two portages of low hanging bridges. They come up fast, and the 1st didn't have eddies at bankfull.

Whitewater is good, after the first class IV stretch there is a calm section that bends to the right. The class V rapid is at the end of this pool (around the corner) and ends w/ the waterfall. There is a v-shaped slot underwater at the base of the falls - make your boof. The class IV after that is read and run.

There are 5 (6?) barb wire fences in the river after the whitewater ends. 4 (5?) cross the river and were touching the water last Thursday - no space for a raft or a kayak. 1 was on the outside of a right hand bend. Keep your eyes open. With lower flows you might be able to sneak under some of them. FWIW.
