Union chutes

I am trying to get a nearby (Denver) after work run in besides Clear Creek. Thought about doing Union Chutes. Especially since I am going to paddle tomorrow with a newbie.

I see the guage is low, but is there enough water to actually run it? Or would we just get beached?

Thanks

I wouldn't go below 250, that's probably beaching level. Union isn't really a "run" as much as it's a few waves and some big eddies. If it's up I'll see you there... cheers -
