Tubing Cottonwood Creek?

I was planning on tubing Cottonwood Creek in Buena Vista tomorrow with a few friends. I looked at it today and it looks like we can get under all the bridges ok. The plan is to launch from the confluence of Cottonwood with N. Cottonwood at the fishing access and float to the pond at Main and Highway 24. We will, of course, have on pfd's and helmets, and a good beer buzz. Has anyone else done this, and if so are there any hidden hazards I should know about?
