Throw Down Show Down--Rodeo series

Hey everybody!

Come down to Salida/Buena Vista for a great rodeo series sponsored by Smith, Teva, Kayak Magazine, PowerBar, RMOC, Monarch Ski and Snowboard Resort and more! Here's how it works: The competition is a Salida vs. Buena Vista rivalry. Anyone can come down to compete on the team of your favorite city/playhole, or just compete as an individual. There will be TONS of prizes donated by the sponsors such as Smith sunglasses, Teva sandals, sweatshirts, backpacks, CDs, etc. Prizes will be given weekly as well as overall prizes. There will be prizes for the winning team, individuals, and mens and womens divisions. Also, a raffle for tons of shwag donated by the sponsors will give anyone who competes a chance to win something. It will be lots and lots of fun, so come on down!

When: Tuesday 13, 20, & 27 @ 6:30pm
Where: 7/13 is in Salida, 7/20 is in BV, and 7/27 is at the winner's hole
Who: Boaters all over who want to have some fun and win some cool prizes

Proceeds go to the Arkansas River Trust and will help support me, Brooke Bevan, go to the U.S. Team Trials in New York this fall.

Just a reminder of the Throw Down Show Down starting next Tuesday (7/13) at 6:30. A Woody Paddle will be donated to be drawn at the final competition from all paddlers that enter and compete. This should be a great event, and I hope to see lots of people come out for a fun time!
