thinking numbers ...

looking to start the season with a low water run on numbers in the next few weeks. Any beta on ice bridges and access to the put-in? Did an early March run on Fractions last year since we didn't want to post hole to the numbers put in.

Happy for any info - thanks

There is no where near as much snow on the banks as last year - last look I got at #'s was 2 weeks ago (and it has been super warm since then), but there were still ice bridges between rapids. Especially in the 1, 1.5, 2 area. Probably still a little early, but 350 cfs is enough to have some fun.
PS - the Gorge is running 550 right now.

Yes way warmer than last year and way less ice and snow. In BV, it looks like late spring. No ice, no snow, just water and rocks. Of course the water is cold, but the playpark is going. Trails are wide open too for biking and running.

I have some friends flying in from FL who want to raft this section and below, any suggestions on an outfit to take care of them? I would like to join them in my boat as safety.

Its good to go!
We paddled Pine Creek Rapid through #'s on Tuesday and there was no ice. It is safer to run Pine Creek then to put-in at Tripple Drop, due to snow, but overall there is very little snow even on river right side.

Have fun!
